Lomisi JSC produces beer (Natakhtari, 3D) and sparkling juices. It also imports Turkish Efes beer to Georgia. The company was founded in 1991. Efes International acquired 100% of the share in 2008. Investments made during 2008, 2009 and 2010 respectively amount to 58.4 million lari ($31.8 million). JSC Lomisi has approximately 300 employees. Efes decided to invest in the Georgian market due to the liberal tax code and a strong legal framework to protect investors. Other reasons include the growth potential of the domestic market and export opportunities.
